The Nokia 2730 classic is aesthetically inspired by the Nokia 6700, a handset that garnered rave reviews for its compact look and sleek form factor. It is the third and most advanced of the trio comprising of Nokia 2700 & Nokia 2720.
The Nokia 2730 is a GSM Candy bar handset and is one of the most affordable 3G phone in the market today. The 2730's fast 3G, up to 3.8 Mbps data transfer speeds, combined with Windows Live Messenger support lets you stay connected with friends, stay on top of business and keep up with mail with ease.
The 2730 supports YouTube streaming, provided the user downloads the BOLT browser. The handset is powered by a 1020 mAh Li-Ion standard battery that allows for a talk time of 7.5 hrs with a standby of up to 396 hrs, however, the 2730 can stretch up an impressive 12 hrs for music play. Apart from 3G, other connectivity options include Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, GPRS Class 32,USB and EDGE Class 32.
The handset comes with a 2 megapixel camera capable of 4x digital zoom, other camera features include white balance modes, automatic landscape orientation, light sensitivity colour tone modes, light sensitivity modes and automatic landscape (horizontal) orientation.
